We’re just about to begin the homestay we’ve been planning for several months now. Tomorrow, we’ll leave for KIX (Kansai International Airport) where we’ll meet up with all the students and parents before we board the plane to California.

There may be some delay in leaving because of a large typhoon (Typhoon Banyan) heading our direction. It is supposed to hit our area in the morning, but that is not certain. I’ve called the airlines, but they were unable to provide any information since the typhoon has not gotten that close yet. The agent asked me to call back tomorrow before we board the bus to KIX airport.

So that is where we stand as of right now. We’re waiting to see what this typhoon does. Please join us in prayer over this matter. Pray for our safety, a smooth process boarding the plane, taking off and landing and that we glorify God through all we do, before, during and after the homestay program.
