We arrived just after it opened and spent the day playing in the water. The weather was perfect! The air temperature was around 85 F that day, about 29 C.

Almost everyone showed up. The only person who was unable to make the party was Hiroko because she had something school related she had to do.

We met on the fourth floor of the church and most everyone got there before 2pm. Takako and Hibiki showed up a little later than 2pm because they had to come from school from dance practice for Sports Day.

There weren’t many photos to go around because some of the student had forgotten theirs, no names mentioned, but what pictures we did have, we enjoyed seeing.

Chihiro brought a CD of her pictures she had made into a video presentation. It was very nice and had music throughout it.

The students filled out evaluation forms on the program and we talked about things people did during the program and what they have done since returning.

It was a lot of fun getting together sharing photos and talking about the summer.

Our next outing will be to Universal Studios Japan together sometime either at the end of October or somewhere in November.

This Sunday is the Reunion Party at church. Don’t forget to bring your pictures you shot in America! Come to church as early as you can. After the 2nd church service, we will meet on the 4th floor for lunch and then after that we will have the party. So bring a bento or buy one at the church. If it your first time there, you will get a free bento. But in order to do that, you need to come to the 2nd church service that starts at 11:30am.

If you want to ride with us to the church, call or email me to let me know beforehand. We can only take 3 more people because we already have 5 people riding:
