2010 Arroyo Verde Park
We arrived at Arroyo Verde Park in Ventura at 10:30am just when the fog was burning off allowing the warm sun to shine. It was another beautiful day! The air temperature was about 23C or 73F. It was the last day of VBS. All the kids at VBS had one more day of practice for the big Friday Night VBS Farewell Party where and friends came to watch and listen the kids dance and sing. There were over 500 people in the audience. It was a good turnout and a great testimony of what the kids did and studied about during the week at VBS: God’s Love. Here are some of the practice pictures during the daytime. More photos of the night event and Disneyland will be posted later tonight. [Show as slideshow]

The theme today was Incredible Impact. The students have been listening to stories throughout the week, playing with their newly-made friends, singing and dancing and doing many other fun things during VBS. Hopefully the students have learned many things that will help them in their lives. After VBS, we went to the Ventura Cross overlooking Ventura, ate lunch and then went shopping at Kohl’s and the Camarillo Premium Outlet Stores where the students bought many things to take back to Japan.
