Things are still being worked on, but the most likely dates for the homestay program this year will be from between July 23-24 to August 14-15. The 2010 homestay program has been scheduled. We will post information about the homestay this summer, the dates and scheduled events in a few days. The dates of the homestay are not quite set, but we will be leaving Japan around July 21 or 22 and arriving back in Japan around August 13 ot 14. So plan your summer around those dates.

The schedule is not out yet, but we are working on it. We hope to have everything scheduled by the first of February. We are planning, as of now, to go to Universal Studios Hollywood for one day and Disneyland California for two days. So we will be staying overnight at a hotel near Disneyland for one night. We are also debating on whether or not to go camping for a few days somewhere near the Oxnard-Ventura area. If you have any suggestions on the schedule, please add your idea in a comment to this post.

Yu and Ryo Nishimura
藤本 綾華 (Fujimoto Ayaka 2005)当時は6年生で英語が全く出来なかったけど、おもいきってアメリカに行きました。
初めてホストファミリーに会った時はドキドキで、私が英語を話せないって伝えたら「たいした事ないよ。」
と言っているような目で見てくれました。
三日ぐらいなかなか慣れなかったけど、やさしく私に接してくれたので、毎日が寂しくなかったし、
夜、ドミノと言うゲームにはまって、いつまでも一緒にゲームをしてくれてうれしかったです。
アメリカでは、日本で体験できないようなことをいっぱいしました。ホームステイで一緒に行った人達と、アメリカの
教会学校の人達と一緒にダンスの練習をして、発表会をしたりして恥ずかしかったけれども、みんなと踊れて楽しかったです。
最後のさよならパーティの時、みんなのホストファミリーと一緒にご飯を食べたり、遊んだり、ゆかたも着たりして、もうすぐ日本へ帰るのはすごく寂しかったけれども、楽しい時間でした。
また、アメリカのみんなに会いに行きたいです。
