Over the Years

Since 1998, the homestay program has expanded greatly!

1998年に日本の子ども達にアメリカの本当の生活を体験させたいと　ホームステイＵＳＡを始めました。以来　多くの子ども達が毎年忘れられない貴重な体験を通して成長しています。数週間の滞在でホストファミリーと暖かいふれあいの時間を持ち､帰りたくないという子ども達がたくさんいます。このプログラムにはリピーターが多いことからも　その素晴らしさを分かっていただけると思います。アメリカのホストファミリーの皆さんの協力のもと毎年この企画をお届けできることを感謝します。

We started CaliforniaHomestayUSA in 1998 in order to give Japanese kids an experience of real American life. Since then a lot of kids have had great experiences and grown up through participating in the program. A few weeks of staying with a Christian host family makes kids not want to return home. There are many tears and many students repeat the program year after year, testimony to how great the program is.

Thanks to GOD and the warm hospitality of the host families from Calvary Chapel of Oxnard and other surrounding churches in the Ventura-Oxnard-Camarillo area, we can present this program year after year. It’s an experience of a lifetime, and one host families and students that participate will cherish the rest of their lives.
