Dodgers vs Mets Saturday Day Game
Today, we went to the Dodgers vs Mets day game at Dodger Stadium. The game started at 1:10pm. But before the game, we arrived early enough where we could sit around and watch batting practice. Many homerun balls went over the fence, but not many came near enough for us to get one. The Dodgers took the lead early in the game, but gave up some runs later to allow the Mets to tie. 南麻衣子（Maiko Minami - 2009 Staff）2009年に、初めてスタッフとして参加しました。このホームステイプログラムは本当に素晴らしいと思います。プログラムでは、カリフォルニアの晴天と開放的な雰囲気の中、本当に温かいアメリカ家庭で家族の一員として時を過ごし、一緒に来た仲間と観光し、教会学校に通い地元の子供達と触れ合うことができます。最初は不安いっぱいだった参加者の皆もいつのまにか、自分のファミリーや地元の子供達と英語を恐れず交わり、そして日本の仲間とも助け合う仲となり、かけがいえのない体験をしてました。帰る頃には皆、それぞれが自分が体験したアメリカに興味を持ち、一回り心も大きくなったのを感じました。私も子供の頃こんな体験ができるならぜひしたかったなーと思えるプログラムです。Yate's一家は、アメリカのもてなす心、1人1人を楽しませる、頼れる、素晴らしい家族です。どうぞ参加して体験してみてください。

岩﨑 浩子 (Iwasaki Hiroko 2005, 2007)最初は不安だったけど､慣れるとフリーデイのほうが楽しみになりました。ホストファミリーと遊んだり､日本ではしないことが出来たので良かったです。来年も行くことを楽しみにしています。
